Going...

Gone! Here you can see about a 1/3 full crucible. I need to feed the rest of my scrap into the crucible, but the scrap is too large so I'm going to have to remove my lid to do it. This will loose a TON of heat, but I can't get it in there any other way. Next time I will remember to put all the larger stuff in first. Saving the smaller stuff for the hole in the top of my lid. This will help a LOT with melt times.

Here I show the lid removed and that baby is glowing nicely.

Feeding some larger stock that won't fit in through the hole in the lid.

A better picture of the stock disappearing into the molten metal. -Wow this is cool!
