Ok, I have been running a few numbers for running a car completely on hydrogen. When I calculated using 4% by volume, most of the different scenarios need about 50 l/min. Using staight DC at 13.2V at 100% Faraday efficiency of 2.4w/hr/L, I come up with 545 amps needed. Wow! That's 9.6 HP! Now I know that the burst frequency electronics increases the the efficiency, but in my opinion, it would have to be 10 times more efficient than Faraday to be reasonable for running my car on water. What gives? Is Bob's electrolyzer that efficient?
