eco, take it easy, and relax. Please be patient. When I do find my documents, I will post everything pertaining to that experiment. Sorry about wasting your time, but you have to realize, most of us have a life outside of these forums. And a busy one at that.

I've said it before hydrogen and oxygen don't explode they implode you must add outside air so that the engine can superheat the non flammable nitrogen so that there is something in the piston to expand

i have done a hydrogen booster before and in the process of doing a 7 cell parallel design

the first hydrogen booster i built was two stainless steel rods in tap water with bakingsoda as the electrolyte ( i know almost nothing when i built this unit about a year ago) the vehicle was a 1993 chevy blazer 4x4 4door vortex engine. i had two hydrogen generators hooked up each drawing 15 - 20 amps not ran in series but parallel 12 vdc each.
with a factory alternator and two car battery's
result: no increase in mileage
reason i guess a bout 10% effiency i was drawing so many amps from the alternator it was putting more stress on the engine and used the hydrogen and oxygen just two keep from using any more gasoline

i will give you the results of my new design when i get them all built and tested

Peace
Using salt as an electrolyte is not a good thing as it eats the metal very quickly

Thoughts~~

Postby Scottie » Mon May 29, 2006 2:14 am

If the whole purpose of a 4 stroke engine is to:
1.) intake fuel
2.) use reaction (combustion)
3.) intake of clearing air
4.) exhaust of clearing air

.. then with hydoxy as the soul fuel, why would we need the phase for exhaust? and waste that much power and fuel for clearing? Please forgive and refresh me if my understanding of 4-stroke op's is incorrect. My desire, with this thought, is to start my first experimental engine to be a 2-stroke.

A 4-stroke cycle is

1. Intake (going down)
2. Compression (going up)
3. Power (going down)
4. Exaust (going up)
repeat

A 2-stroke will do the power and intake at once. The design uses both ends of the piston. you also need to add oil to the fuel as most engines don't have a seperate sump.

This thread is for hydroxy boosting not a hydrogen only system. Although we wish we could do that :)

hydro boost

Postby mrgalleria » Thu Jun 01, 2006 4:46 pm

The following was performed on a 5hp generator- 2400 watt.

A small electrolizer was added consisting of: 4" abs pipe, a sheet of stainless coiled inside the pipes inner wall as the neg. cathode, a stainless althread bolt ran down the middle with 6 or more small sink drain screens attached as anode. Gap between anode and cathode about 9/16", moving them closer proved no benefit.
A very small amount of drain cleaner was added to get about 6-8 amps at 12 volts from a battery charger.

This produced 16oz. of nicely explosive gas in 6 minutes.
The gen. was loaded with about 900 watts- vacuum cleaner and battery charger. The battery charger- electrolizer combo were run in all tests, just disconnected the tube to intake when running gas only. Hydrogen was introduced into a small barbed fitting on the intake manifold.
In spite of the small volume of hydro. produced, there was a 30% increase in performance (engine run time for amount of gaselene used).
And the engine ran smoother.
I believe that even a small amount of hydrogen added conditions the air-fuel mixture to act in a superior way.

Bill, others have also had stated the exact same results running small engines with hydroxy boost. Your test results confirmed their stated results. It apparently does not take much hydroxy at all to make a difference when there is no engine computer control at work to richen the A/F mix in an attempt to thwart mileage improvements.

Eco,
Did I leave something out that allows you to remain so sceptical?
If you happen to be coming to the Big Island ANYTIME, I would be more than pleased to replicate this for you. And if not, if you have a friend coming, I am here.
Better yet, try it yourself!
