The following was performed on a 5hp generator- 2400 watt.
A small electrolizer was added consisting of: 4" abs pipe, a sheet of stainless coiled inside the pipes inner wall as the neg. cathode, a stainless althread bolt ran down the middle with 6 or more small sink drain screens attached as anode. Gap between anode and cathode about 9/16", moving them closer proved no benefit.
A very small amount of drain cleaner was added to get about 6-8 amps at 12 volts from a battery charger.
This produced 16oz. of nicely explosive gas in 6 minutes.
The gen. was loaded with about 900 watts- vacuum cleaner and battery charger. The battery charger- electrolizer combo were run in all tests, just disconnected the tube to intake when running gas only. Hydrogen was introduced into a small barbed fitting on the intake manifold.
In spite of the small volume of hydro. produced, there was a 30% increase in performance (engine run time for amount of gaselene used).
And the engine ran smoother.
I believe that even a small amount of hydrogen added conditions the air-fuel mixture to act in a superior way.
