There goes one good & expensive electrolyzer. What could actually goes wrong still a question mark? Where were you during the explosion? There must be some spark happens inside your electrolyzer. How did you connect last plates with terminal? From latest postings, I remember you mentioned about 14A at high voltage. 14A produce very much heat which could have melted acrylic casing. Plate and connection terminal might have moved from its position causing spark which ignited the gas.
