hi all. another source is pure nickel wound guitar strings they were very popular in the 60's but are still available cheap but i havent found if they are pure as they claim. most are nickel plated now.

I have been thinking. Earlier I posted 4 links with research info that documents nickel as a hydrogen catalyst. And very high temps were used also.
But nowhere is adding nitrogen mentioned. Alaskastar is the only one to date that I know of to start this reactions concept with nitrogen. The way we are doing this appears to be unique. And so the perimeters of our application of the process as well as the results may be different from the afore mentioned research.
I see three benefits to our approach.
One- no bubbler, as the gas is non-combutable initially.
Two- this works at lower temps.
Three- the gas we are making in likely H3, not H2.

This is for my own research
After reading the extensive postings of Alaskastar (better than the davinci code) and having read all of these posts I will also build and experiment with one of these heated nickel devices. I think this is the most simplistic and practical way of heading for producing a gas on demand to assist in fuel economy.
Great work...I hope to be able to post some test results soon and something that will contribute.
