Preventing booster water in the intake...cylinder

So, the way I've got it figured, the cell hose goes to the bubbler, which goes to the intake on most boosters. I know smack has SS mesh and a water trap to catch extra water before it gets into the intake. Any other ideas on how to do this...
Basically, I'm worried that if I hit a bump or something, water may splash its way into the intake system, which could eventually harm the engine. Is this a logical fear, or simply a phobia?

Not that I've heard anyone using one, but an oil catch can could be used
just before the intake. s/s mesh can be easily be adapted inside one.
Drain it now 'n then. Parranoia solved

Thanks hybrid. I'll probably just build a makeshift water trap of some sorts. Or just bugger it and cross my fingers that no water messes with the engine.
