yea the no edit sucks, but i understand its reasoning.

thanks for the replies, i found a plastic former in tauranga and just waiting on quotes.

he's gonna get me prices on tubes and boxes.
i have also found the stainless at a bloody good price, $15/m for the outside tube.

where did you get your electronics from? i got a quote for $100 for all the required parts from Jaycar (for the Lawton circuit) and that didn't include the blox, knobs and all the stuff to make it pretty.

me and my mate got all our stuff from jaycar and the components came to about $11 without the pots... we didnt bother getting the knobs and didnt bother with the box either! a clear plastic lunchbox is good enough

I've also got a PCB layout for the circuit which we used as well, if you want it send me a PM.
