Can I salvage this Electrolyser??

Hello, I am a new member. I wish I had found this forum BEFORE I welded up my design. My question is should I try grinding out the welds and trying another design?? I have an 8 plate 2.75" x 6" +_+_+_+_ and I am trying it on my 2004 6.6L Duramax diesel at straight battery voltage. With no effect on MPG, very slight HP boost. I have spent a s-load of time trying to get this to work. I am using an initial charge of 3/4 cup vinegar and topping off with distilled water (I am trying to cut down on the chance of paint damage from leaks), amp draw starts out at about 15, then it heats up and keeps tripping a 30amp breaker...at that time I will get a mpg drop 4-6 so it puts me down to about 14mpg. This gen. has gotten so hot that the 3"pvc has deformed and changed color and the hoses fell off the barb fittings. I figure that when I get my mpg drop the gen is only putting out steam, I am guessing that its arcing to hell. Also I cannot get my HHo production above 16oz/70 seconds. well thats enough questions for one post.

Thank for the quick response. I was wondering a couple of things. would it help if i installed a pulser on this unit?? and is there an equation I can use to figure just how much HHO production I will need?? displacement, rpm, diesel or gasser.

wow great ideas, thanks. I will look into a fuel heater, that sounds fairly simple...any ideas where to buy? Or do I have to make one? OK, I've read about the series design I really don't want to cut this apart. Its 1/8" thick 316L stainless, welded to two 316 1/4" L shaped bolts that I bent. Its pretty solid. I do like the idea of the DC converter. I really hope its an easier build that that thing I tried to build back in the 80's, whats it called, oh yea I remember...................a FLUX-CAPACITOR! Again can I buy one or do I have to knock one out?? Man Its coming on to 9 pm and now I just want to work on this NOW! and solve this! I'm 50, I should have grown out of this instant gratifaction phase by now again,,, thanks

OK I just looked through the site,, and found the tutorial for DC converters. I hate having someone do my work for me,butt,,, just what converter and hardware are people using for this application??? again thanks
