Boy, isn't that the truth. Last Sunday I blow 6 electrolizers to bits and narrowly escaped injury. They were attached to a 5hp motor that I was attempting to run on hydrogen. I left the electrolizers running, came back later, pulled the starter rope, instantanious boom. The waste spark ignited the hydro.
Running the motor adapted for hydro, running 2 cycle, the waste spark would be used.

I have 4 Air Force Emergency Backup 2-stroke HOMELITE GENERATORS. these are supposed to be mounted in the tail of the flying fortresses of WW2, from the Allied Forces (including America).

Alaskastar and I talked about this a long time ago , and he had a great idea. What is wd-40? We all know.
Just spray some of that in the engine about 30 revolutions prior to shutdown. Problem solved. I would just have a can set up in the engine compartment on a solenoid valve and do it automatically.
