Thanx Chris. I was thinking of insulating the lines by wraping them with muffler tape. Or something...like that... My griddle won't go any higher than that unfortunately. There was a definate difference in the effieciency under and over that 375-400 range. Exhaust gasses should be pretty high as the restrictive qualities of a catalyitic convertor will run upto 1200f. With platinum at that temp theres a cracking of the gas molecule into its lighter components. I think thats what were all after anyways isnt it? Anyways, mabye because were dealing with lower than atmospheric pressures, i'll need to run my hot lines cooler. I wonder if theres adjustable heat actuated valves for my app. Should be somewhere.
