Does anyone know how tp make amorphous metal? Where to find/scavenge it from? Thanks

Heres some information I found on google:

LiquidMetal / Vitreloy, the commercial name of a metallic-glass alloy of zirconium and beryllium.
Found in sports equipment such as skis, baseball/softball bats, racquets, and golf clubs.

Maybe a good starting point for yah. I'll add more specific products when/if I find them.



It seems that most amorphous metals are made from molten aloys, that have been instantly frozen by various methods, some vacuum diecasting, some cryogenics. Looks to be fairly difficult to manufacture at home without expensive equipment..

The plug from a washing machine (clothes) seems to work out nicely for a booster.
