HI hopefullt this be ok to post my question here....any have any info about a device called ( VREF)? ... ITS SUPPOSED TO ALTER THE M. A. F. censor output to achieve better fuel millage. i have the EFIE devices already ... PS I CAN SUPPLY ADDITION INFORMATION IF REQUESTED thanks don

I don't know about the particular unit that you're talking about (got a link?), but there are numerous ways you can tell the ECU to run the engine leaner.

HI .... ok i see then it might be ok according to the scanguage.....what i have done so far is gonna work... the M A F, MAP.IAT.TPS censor are showing lower reading. compaired to before changes were made.......but oh yes i,ll continue driving it....i have tried set each censor at the same resistance.....for a start ill get it right. assuming its possible.......plus lots research on this car censors.....so ok again i,ll drive it this way in a months time or before i should see some stable effiency results... :D thanks

Aloha,
All I do is wrap the oxy. sensor with a heavy layer of aluminum foil, and add a manual MAP or MAF sensor adjuster. Info in my project folder. Cost- about $4 for the potentiameter (50k or 100k), resister- $.20 (10k- MAF, 33k- MAP), wire cover- heat shrink- $.50, wire- $1.00. Total- $6-$7.
