Enzymes as catalysts

All a catalyst does is speed up a reaction. H2O2 is going to break down into H2O and O2...
Try this... Take some hydrogen peroxide and put different substances in it. Notice the bubbles of Oxygen coming off. Some substances work really well and others don't work at all, but none of the substance is ever used up.
That is how a catalyst works.
Water isn't going to break down into H2 and O2 over time or by itself so there is no reaction taking place inwhich a catalyst could help.

Did anyone see the "mythbusters" programme where they put a mint sweet into a bottle of diet cola.........Man that is what i call gas production,
