Relative Potential Energy Drive.

hmm....This sounds interesting. If a person is falling off the roof of a 2 story building, then are they getting closer to the ground, or is the ground getting closer to them? in relative perspective, BOTH are correct.

Now...Electrically Speaking, If the ground LOOKS closer than it really is, then the electron will travel farther than the ground and try to seek another.

So...how does one accomplish this? well, since I don't own a Particle Accelerator, and don't ever plan on buying one (though It would be fun!), I suggest a line of thoughts that might help in other areas of obtaining more power from less energy.

Back to the electrical side. I can Thank Tesla for being alive before me, so as that end of stuff exists already. Now in this, maybe a High voltage source like that of a Plasma Ball (like those found in various science museums) would supply the electrical charge. next, we would need a strong magnetic field. this is to PULL the electrical energy discharge through a "hollow core magnet." BUT the south end of the magnet is completely NEUTRAL. meaning we have a HomoPolar Hollow Core Electromagnet. so the ground contact for discharge is found in line, but opposite direction from the discharge pole as the magnet, ordered like this:

* Ground * Discharge pole OOOOOMagnet OOOOONeutral *GND

so the electrons bias toward a "false gravity" toward the other ground. this leads back to the person falling off a roof. the ground is closer here, than it is there, but in reality its the other way. so as the electron charge passes inside the magnet, the charge is possibly generating a plasma flow with air and starting a good gradual velocity build. "solid state rocket"

I have looked into the "Hall Thruster" units, and they look like good for space travel, but what about here on earth? just because a few have money to play like that, doesn't do us much good.

so a system like this migh be useful for not thrust, but to pull magnets? pulling an airstream through a turbine to gather mechanical horsepower?

what abou the effects underwater?

Any thoughts? Other than nitpicking on spelling, of which I Crushed a bunch of bones in my hand last week, and typing is not at the best right now.

You know that sounds alot like a concept in a science fiction story I read.

To obtain electricity, electric eel-ish creatures were tempted by food through a mesh which collected their charge as they passed through.

Maybe a low power directed rf field through the hollow core would tempt the discharge by providing an easier path? Could be used to focus or shape the charge also maybe. Turning it off and on would probably create a pumping action.

I like trying to make the dollar work twice as hard.

Underwater... or through electrolyte... The possibilities are endless. All I can say is Wow.

Speaking of hand crushing.... My birthday X3 mill fell on my hand while twisting it into position.... not crushed... but very tender knuckles though. Hope you heal up quick.

Well the end of my finger fell off. the blackened parts. did not even feel it. it fell off when unloading a police car we bought for 200 bucks. never found the end of it. took 30 minutes to realize it was gone. use your imagination from there.

on the subject of energy, it should seem logical that from the viewpoint of a person falling off a roof, that they are suddenly getting closer to the ground.

on the ground, the viewpoint is that the person whom fell off the roof is getting closer to them.

from the roof, the person looks like they are moving far away very quickly.

this the theory of relativity. everything is relative to perspective.

so use this on the magnetic scenario is put here before, and apply it to the perspective of the 2 grounds, and the electrons moving to the closest ground. if the farthest ground LOOKS closer than the closest, they will head that way. so it becomes a way to stretch the boundaries.
