NH3 from urine. How do I do it?

This forum is for discussions regarding Hydrogen Production by all means OTHER than Electrolysis. It is also for discussing the end results of Hydrogen Applications such as Water Engines & Water Cars.

Ok, I've been doing a bit of research and found a few things.

Ammonia can do some pretty cool stuff.

Add it to copper sulfate and you will get Tetramminecopper(II) sulfate [Cu(NH3)4]SO4. This stuff is dark blue and can dissolve cellulose and is one method of making rayon.

Also you can make nitric acid by heating the ammonia and inserting a glowing hot platinium wire in the resulting gas. This acts as a catalyst and produces nitrogen dioxide which you then bubble through water to get nitric acid. The thing with this is apparently you can use a copper wire as the catalyst instead of the platnium, Yay!
