Well when the fecal excretus manages to impact the rotary air moving device, I won't have much to worry about. We could be hit with NUKES and still not worry. With LESS THAN 1 HUMAN for every 10 SQUARE MILES.....yeah.
To give a perspective, as on a map we are located down by mexico....and we have naturally occurring ice?......IF we cut Alaska in HALF, then Texas would STILL be the 3rd LARGEST STATE!
with that in mind, there's probably only 2 things here worth actually targeting with ANY military force: the PIPELINE and ANCHORAGE (home of 3 Military Installations).
Everything else would be unharmed. not only that, people raiding from say Southern SUDAN, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Iran, China, or any other warm climate is in for one hell of a shell shock come the end of summer (now 2 months away!) and would not stand to make it far in the cold. in WWII, Alaska was also a target to Japan as well as Pearl Harbor. the Japanese were having the worst of time trying to keep themselves alive, not even trying to fight. when the US arrived, they had committed a Mass Suicide, and we didn't have to do much more than clean up the mess. the suicide was for more reasons than being surrounded. it had more to do with the survivability from EXPOSURE. so, Yeah, We Alaskans are pretty safe by far. Can't say too much for the ones whom drive gas guzzling beasts, and rely on credit cards to pay for everything...never having cut wood, or use an outhouse, fetch water from a creek or melt snow, use nature to protect yourself from nature.......and yes these people exist here as well. they will be the first to succumb to human ignorance. Darwin at his best.
