In studying this concept, I learn that 2 main features must be present.
One is the insulator must be converted into an electret,
and this electret must be covered with a conductor to capture ions.
I also read that companies go to great lengths to prevent insulation on wire from becoming electret in nature because it causes problems.
So I was thinking about those clothes line cables made of plastic coated steel wire. They aren't manufactured to prevent an electret, so they may work better. Then we only need to find a way of placing a conductive coating over the outside to collect electrons. Any ideas on how to do this?
Clothes lines are very cheap. Also one could connect a car battery to both ends of a clothes line and get the wire to get nice and hot. Then we just need to connect a 30kvolt source to the wire as it cools off. An old computer monitor will do fine as a 30kvolt source. We only need it for as long as it takes the wire to cool down again, and we're done with it.

Looks like another part of this energy system is the fact of converting the HF Voltage produced to a useable motive.

The facts of it producing energy are in fact true...just a very big problem of getting it "to the Battery"...but it merits more trial for sure.

Is there a Spray coating we could use? Spray chrome or such?

Some type of graphite based paint should work. I think tremclad silver paint is graphite based. We can try a little on something as a test, and use an ohm meter to check if it conducts well enough. Otherwise just using graphite powder will leave a coating. Also thought of wrapping aluminum foil around it. Maybe use both, a conductive paint, and then wrap aluminum foil around it while it's still sticky so the aluminum foil stays on the wire. Just paint one foot at a time as we wrap it. If the foil sticks out a little it will only help pick up more ions from the air.
