Why aren't hydrogen cars for sale?

The major argument is the cost of converting the infrastructure. But in reality the owners don't even need access to the hydrogen tank. All the car manufacturers need to do is add a pem electrolyzer to fill it & an extension cord that neatly rolls itself up. You plug it in at night & in the morning it's ready to go. The electrolyzer could act as a booster while driving to extend the range. They could even add solar cells for when you're out & about. They might be expensive but what new technology isn't? In a few years the price would come down, they could do it with fuel cell cars as well. No need for a billion dollar hydrogen infrastructure. Hell, in time gas stations could pump distilled water, it would be a lot cheaper than converting to storing & pumping hydrogen.

Electrolyzer stations. Fuel made on demand to fill your tanks. Big wind turbines turn giant fly wheels hooked to generators...

problem but a political one. No
free lunch in any sense, because
you're not living under free market
capitalism, or the benificence of nature,
but a government-industrial protectionist
racket that must suppress all
viable competition. It's not a conspiracy
but a cartel. That's why you must pay $3.00+
for gas and why we make everything from
plastic, to fill up the landfills, squandering
a resource for future generations, sending it
out your tailpipe. A car company must consult
with a fuel providor when designing a motor.
The car companies are owned by oil companies
and vica versa, who are funded by the big
banks. Multinational oil and auto CEO's attend
the same White House dinner parties. Many
belong to the Council on Foreign Relations
(CFR) globalist think tank who basically set US
policy as best they can. That's why oil is
a national security issue worth sending
guys to the middle east to die for. The
government collects huge revenues from
excise taxes on oil. GW/ Arbusto Oil and
Daddy Bush, Penzoil, not to mention Bill
Richardson, own reserves in excess of
$20B. They would put us into another war
(probably China) as a distraction, before
relinquishing control and profits. It isn't in
their interest to give you hydrogen power.
You must empower yourself.

lol, o.k... I think it's probably because the cars would be so expensive that auto manufacturers don't think there's a market for them.
Anyhow, the technologies are available now.
It's just a matter of marrying the two together.
Any good entrepreneur with access to a little cash could build & sell cars converted to hydrogen.
If the oil companies want to shut you down, sell out.
They're most likely going to try a legal way before death & destruction, it's just being professional.

I've said it before, we must make weapons and shields; and take down the gov .. would be fun to destroy the thing that make us work every day ..
