Electrolosys with tesla coils?

i'm not really sure how they work but i had the idea of submersing tesla coils or having the plasma radiate through the water to electrolosize it. the coils might have to be coated in something to block the water from touching them, and the bubbles might just ignite under the water.. i really have no experiance with themand about how it'd work...

on water during 1940s . He emigrated to US temporarily, to escape Nazis
and keep his invention from becoming part of their war machine.

what if the electrolosys and the cumbustion all took place inside the cylinders. the steam would add to compression too to make the explosions bigger. you'd probably just have to make sure not too much hydrogen was produced and burnd each stroke or else the cylinder would explode...
