Remember that we where talking about saving online video for future refferenses and to save it for the alliance archives, well i found a i site that does this splendidly. This works for 226 sites.
You can choose between two methodes - the first one is to download the flv file directly form the url (like youtube, metacafe etc) on your computer, but it sucks so donÂ´t do this. The second method is much better. It converts the flv file to avi online. You can acctually choose between different file types in the menybar, but avi is the one to prefer - my choice!

So hereÂ´s how it works. 1:Past the url. 2:Choose convert. 3:Now you must enter the type of file the video is, and mostly itÂ´s flv so pick this and finaly you choose what file it should convert into (avi) and 4:Accept the rules and your ready to download .. well, almoste. The site will now convert the flv for you and this might take a while, depending on your internetaccess. I have broadband - 24Mbit - so iÂ´m looking @ 5 min to do this conversion, but thatÂ´s fine. And finaly, save the file on your computer!
So, that should be all folks, hav fun!
