Hi HugeDuallie & moses. A dc to dc convertor can regulate the output. I
use one to maintain 13.5v to my car computer mp3 player. Anything from
9 to 12v comes out at 13.5. Holds 13.5v at eng startups is the best thing.
The right pulley sizes can make the alt run at 4,000rpm at town speeds.

My work mate wants to drive an alternator from the engine, one dedicated to
Hydroxy production only. Fiddle with the regulator / diodes etcetera and put just the right
voltage across the group of cells with pulsing DC . The power would vary with engine revs
- thus , more Hydroxy when engine is reving more, less at idle.
