either from generation side, from which energy source and with which manner/process should we provide ourselves with energy we need, or from consumption side, how much energy do we actually need to live properly as human.
energy efficiency improvement would only bring us from 'bad' to 'less bad', never to 'good'.
"my new sportcar now can run 80 km on 1 liter of gasoline, so i can drive farther and more frequent"... or "my new home cinema set is just 1000 W, than the previous smaller one with 2000 W.. i can even have double now"... or simply "the latest version of this brand external harddisk is 2 TB capacity with smaller size, compared to mine now 1 TB with bigger body.. i should just change"
