more on why I took this pic in a bit...


Here's the hold that someone cut in the front of the Supersonic so that the crazy different muffler could be used. As you rode along snow would shoot up into the sled because this hole is front facing. Furthermore, I would occasionally get large puffs of smoke from under the hood. This happened 3 times to me when I rode the Supersonic a few weeks back during a bit of snow that we got. I could never understand why it was doing that. Now I know... Snow was clogging my muffler for a few seconds.

All that moisture and dirt was being pushed up into the sled... not good. The real exit hole for the proper muffler is out the side of the belly pan just a bit left of the edge of this picture. I will show how the new proper muffler goes in after my repairs.
