Now I'm trying some silly 1.5v tests. I was attempting to put more amperage in parallel here but that was futile as the voltage is only 1.5 and the resistance is going to be limiting the amperage here.


Oh well, hind sight is always 20/20 right?


Now I'm getting the right idea. Testing with 12v was fine but provided far too little resistance within the cell. I would have been pushing the max amperage that the battery could provide, through the cell so to help increase resistance I placed a 12v car light in series with the circuit. This limited me to just 4.3A at 12v.
