This is the main part of the compression frame. Same 1/2 thick cold rolled steel, but instead of through holes, these holes are tapped instead for the threaded rod. The threaded rod is then screwed in flush with the face of the plate and then blue Locktite'd in place, just in case I need to remove them. This plate has the 4 ports for the gas outlets and water inlets, using 1/4NPT Yor-Lok fittings.

Here you can see the fittings that need to be protected while assembling the cell.

Here are the two UHMW spacer blocks. One is drilled with 1/4in holes for the gas and water, I did the drilling myself so these are not to exact specs yet. The other has no holes at all.

Here are the 40 gaskets that I cut thinking that I had 34 plates...DOH! These are made of the 100% virgin PTFE gasket sheets. I have recently found a better material to use I think. It is still virgin PTFE, but electrical grade instead, meant to stop voltage across the gasket material. These when assembled show a resistance of 10Mohms, much, much less than I had wanted. I want a full open when I try to check for resistance on it.

These are the nuts and washers that I picked up from a local hardware store.
