You can't see the gauge, but we're at 1 psi. This is consistent with the 3 foot difference between the top water reservoir and the bottom storage bottle. Every 3 feet should give you 1 psi of pressure.

Here's the electrolyzer happily bubbling away

OK we'll turn it off now, as my top reservoir is rather full. By having a larger top bottle, you can enjoy a built in safety feature. If your electrolyzer fails to turn off, the gas will simply push the water level in the bottom storage bottle so low, that it will begin to vent up through the top reservoir bottle. This top bottle is open to the atmosphere so the gas will simply escape. I recommend venting this top bottle to the outside air so that nothing can collect in your lab.

Here I am just venting gas through the front bubbler (#2) now. Everything is working perfectly so I am quite pleased with the storage system's performance.

Here is a quick shot of the larger top water reservoir bottle that I'm preparing. This will prevent any problems with water overflow in my top bottle.
