I have not had a chance to read all of the pages of posts in the entire forum yet, but I am working on it. I was actually about to start just such an undertaking of my own. Noting design types, advantages, disadvantages, component lists, efficiencies, production levels, and hopefully give them some kind of ratings for reproducability.

For a person trying to get up to speed in this technology, the stuff above would be invaluable. And as always... giving credit where credit is due. In keeping with the OPENSOURCE philosophy.... You are welcome to use my design, just be sure to keep my name on it.... and if you make improvements, note the base design was someone else and that you made the improvements.

if/when you get around again... could you post the dimensions of the FLAT piece of stainless before you turn it into a spiral...

I have a friend who works for one of those 'water cutting jet' machines...and am gonna see if I can get him to make a couple of "sample cuts" on the machine for me =)

Seems like a good design, compact, good gas production(so they say) and seems to be low maintainance

Has anyone delt with this unit yet?

I have been trying a few other designs, but keep going back to the simple Mr. G cell. Since there seems to be a corrosion problem with the metal, reverse wire polarities every 1000 or so miles. Use the thickest SS you can.
I will post more photos, as I have been building dozens of these. They are very small. A set up can be built for anything from a moped- on up. They are cool to watch, great in a clear container like a water filter housing.
