How do we measure eV from the cells?Im almost absolutely possitive eV is the voltage...11 to 13 ...304 s.s. has a work function 0f 4.4 eV so that much is needed to overcome the work force of the electrodes so effectively we need to 17.4 eV going in that can be adjusted to 11- 13volts.Im really inclined to think that we get 1eV for every kV that we put in the 304 electrodes.If that idea is rite then 17.4kV wuld be the max voltage needed out of the secondary.I might be wrong but it does feel right.Have you ever seen a HERF gun?How ever its done im sure that eV is wat we need to be able to measure. well......its gotta be more than 1kv to get 1eV but i think its on the right path.

You are probably correct about 17.4kv, but I seem to recall Stan saying that the action all starts at 2kv.

No. I have been contemplating using GAIM or PIDGEN as it is now named. It works with several IM services and can be setup to use public key encryption. How about email for now?

I'm starting small.
I have the transformer wound.
It's a small EI ferrite.
The bifilar is 34 gauge, the primary is 22 guage
I will be using what I have for the electrodes.
