I am a little confused as to why, on the antenna, the copper pipe needs to be spaced one inch apart. If electricity travels the path of least resistance and more surface area collects more, shouldn't we space the pipe as close as we can without touching and fit more pipe for more collection? I am just wondering, maybe one of you can explain it better to me or something. I am very interested in starting this project but I want to understand it a little more. I really appriciate all of you who have contributed to this subject.

hey clay i dont honestly know why he used a one inch spacing other than from what i read he implied this seemed to accept the radient energy more proficiently... you can still get results using a solid piece of copper or even aluminum foil for that matter... you might want to play around with the materials to see what works best... not being in the states kinda puts a hamper on my hands on for the moment... sgt n
