Energy independence is one of the main agendas of every country. With the world energy demand rising and the supplies decreasing, it has become necessary for the countries to seek alternate sources of energy. The dominant source of energy for the world continues to be the fossil fuels. But the rising prices and the inability to refurnish these sources has made it a precious commodity.

The world energy demand is all set to rise further. It is estimated that by the year 2030, the demand for energy is all set to rise by 40% across the world in the coming years. Owing to this, the investment in the energy sector has gone up. The world pumped in 155 billion dollars into this sector in the last year.

Along with the monetary rewards, security is one aspect that the investors are seeking in these times of recession. helps the investors in making investment in a secure way by reducing the exposure of the investors to vulnerabilities in the market.

energy efficiency is no longer the answer to our problem today. it is energy sufficiency.
either from generation side, from which energy source and with which manner/process should we provide ourselves with energy we need, or from consumption side, how much energy do we actually need to live properly as human.
energy efficiency improvement would only bring us from 'bad' to 'less bad', never to 'good'.

"my new sportcar now can run 80 km on 1 liter of gasoline, so i can drive farther and more frequent"... or "my new home cinema set is just 1000 W, than the previous smaller one with 2000 W.. i can even have double now"... or simply "the latest version of this brand external harddisk is 2 TB capacity with smaller size, compared to mine now 1 TB with bigger body.. i should just change"
All are clearly efficiency improvements, less cost more performance. But, would it reduce consumption then? i believe it will just improve more sales, as it is intended by the economy, the market, the business. that's the evil side.
