Project Description:
This is my hydrogen generator.
I was snooping around on the net to find a way to get better MPG, I had been looking over everything regarding the GEET (Paul Pantone's PMC) for a few years, I'm from france and they are pretty active about that over there (over 100 "retro-fits" described on www.quanthomme.org -- check it out for more info (in french though).
Then I ended up on PESWiki. I found Andrew's page (http://waterpoweredcar.com/hydrobooster2.html) who helped me and sent me parts.
I built his prototype, and melted the lid (! - Cables were smoking :-O ), due to a short.
So I saw Chris's prototype made with walmart Cereal boxes, and decided to go take a look in their alleys.
I'm lucky, I have a big space next to my washer fluid tank, so I grabbed a big box for keeping bread.
Here it is ! I can put like a gallon and a half, in it, I won't be stopping too often to refill it !

Nota : at first I used KOH, I ran out during my experiments so I tried Baking soda. 1 tsp, and you go up to 50A ! Easy to find, and with one box, I'm off for at least a year !
I now use distilled water from walmart at 65c a Gal.

It sucks a bit, I did it with Paint and a touchpad..

Quick explanation from "Bro" Andrew :

On my truck I have 3 wires going to
the MAP sensor. Positive-12v, negative and a positive signal
green wire-5v., Just cut the green signal wire, install a
wire connector. I always solder everthing. I don't trust wire
crimping for a solid good connection. By soldering you never have
to do it again.

To test if you got the right signal wire, hook up an ohm meter
to the wires and start the car. when the motor revs up you
will notice the volts go up and down with the throttle. If the volts stay constant, you got the
wrong wire. What the pot does is adjust the volts from 1 to
12 volts, most likely 3 to 6 volts.

Run the twin speaker wire (same size wire as the MAP sensor
wire) to your pot under the dash. Solder one the center post
of the pot. and the other wire to one side (does not matter)
and I always solder the other side with a short wire to the
back of the pot to ground it. And don't let the pot touch
dashboard metal, just attach to plastic. The other end of
the twin wires goes between the green wire splice you made.

Disconnecting the oxy sensor will do nothing in engine
performance. It only is used by the computer when it gets
hot enough. On my truck it takes a while of driving before
the "check engine" light will go on.

Read you car's manual on the wire codes for your MAP sensor.

I got all this from Fran at hydrogen-booster.com

This is because the Oxy sensor has to get hot (approx 30min driving). That's why some newer ones have a heating system.

Sorry... No description for this picture at this time.
